Located in the heart of downtown Amsterdam, BLAEUBEECK VOCAL STUDIO [BVS] is situated just off Dam square and a stone’s throw from the Royal Palace, the central railway station, department stores, museums, restaurants and nightlife. BLAEUBEECK rents its studio temporarily to musicians and artists staying in Amsterdam for a while but it is equally possible to rent it briefly for teaching or getting singing classes; an opera coaching session or a chamber music rehearsal. Organizing an interview, a simple photo shoot, a press conference or an artistic production meeting? BVS offers the splendid venue. Additional services are provided upon request, such as an opera coach, a reliable driver, a certified personal trainer or an in-house Pilates instructor. BVS even arranges your local production assistant, photographer, stylist or interpreter, if required. The non-smoking 66 square yard size studio apartment -a quiet and shallow basement with windows at street level- is situated at Blaeu Erf [Blue Yard] which is one of Amsterdam’s most historic sites [click this link with historical background] and has a living/study room with double windows; a piano; a small music library; a double bedroom; a kitchenette and a bathroom with toilet and shower. Telephone, cable tv and internet are available. Regardless the duration of their stay, guests receive a so called “agreement on terms of studio use BVS” as well as an information folder containing current cultural facts, shopping suggestions and restaurant information. BVS Preferred Guests [automatically when booking a minimum stay of 6 nights or otherwise explicitly requested] receive a chilled bottle of Veuve Clicquot champagne and a basket with fresh fruits upon arrival.
